Soldier Sues Army, Saying His Atheism Led to Threats

As staunchly anti-bigotry as I am, I tend to give the armed forces a LITTLE bit of slack. For the hardest job in the world, stationed solidly on a foundation of trust in your fellow soldiers, well...you get a little more time to come up to speed.

Having said that, I DO expect the Army to come around after not too much longer. Hey, they had to let in black people and women, atheists have gotta be next, right?
